Debate Continues Over Existence, Importance of Aspirin–NSAID Interaction

KEY POINT

While researchers are finding conflicting evidence about a possible pharmacodynamic interference of nonspecific NSAIDs with the cardioprotective effects of aspirin, clinicians have plenty to worry about in terms of additive gastrointestinal lesions produced during concomitant therapy.
