Verapamil May Increase Bioavailability of Risperidone

KEY POINT

In vivo evidence suggests that verapamil may significantly increase the plasma concentration of risperidone (Risperdal—Janssen) due to an increase in bioavailability through P-glycoprotein inhibition.
