Patients’ beliefs about alternative meds linked to poor asthma control

KEY POINT

Among urban minority adults, negative beliefs about inhaled corticosteroids (ICSs) and positive views about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) were associated with uncontrolled asthma, according to recent data published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
