Adherence—Key in Diabetes—Makes Pharmacists’ Role Clear


Patients with type 2 diabetes who do not take at least 80% of prescribed oral hypoglycemic agents during a calendar year have a 2.5 times greater chance of being hospitalized in the following year, according to a recently published study.
