Comorbid Depression Affects Diabetic Control

KEY POINT

Depression is an often unrecognized and underappreciated comorbid condition in patients with diabetes. Major depression is more likely in patients with diabetes who also have poorly controlled disease or other specific demographic and clinical characteristics.
