Tale of Two Studies: L-TAP and Project ImPACT Paint Different Pictures

KEY POINT

Results from Project ImPACT’s recently concluded lipids experience provide the best published care for patients with elevated cholesterol levels. In comparison, the Lipid Treatment Assessment Project (L-TAP) demonstrates just how few patients in the United States routinely achieve their LDL goals in usual-care situations.
