Flavocoxid linked to acute liver injury: The beginning of the end for medical foods?


Flavocoxid (Limbrel—Primus Pharmaceuticals), a proprietary prescription medical food marketed for osteoarthritis treatment, was linked to four cases of acute liver injury in a prospective observational study.
