Neuropathic pain: Analysis sheds light on best treatments

KEY POINT

Evidence supports the use of tricyclic antidepressants, serotonin–noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors, pregabalin, and gabapentin as first-line agents for the management of patients with neuropathic pain, according to results from a systematic review and meta-analysis of more than 200 studies.
